The Fellowship supports young women who have been left out of the education system, helping them to learn how to read, write and have some numeracy ability as well as teaching them some sewing, knitting and embroidery skills.
It encourages twinning arrangements between schools of the valley and primary and secondary schools in Italy.
Skardu Vocational School
The Fellowship is supporting a programme of training in sewing, knitting and embroidery techniques for deprived women in the area of Skardu. At the end of the training the women are allowed to use the sewing and knitting machines of the school in form of micro-credit, in order to start independent self-employed activities.
